Release 08: Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Chapter 6

Whew, managed to get this done before Thanksgiving.

I just noticed now that Yuzu's last name is "Tanikawa", not "Tanigawa." Woops. Not that it makes a huge difference, but yeah, maybe if this gets a volume release, I'll fix the first two chapters. Also changed. Also changed "blockade" to "barricade" since it sounds a bit better. Again, a volume release will probably fix that.

Anyways, we (finally) get some new characters! See you next month!

Where is Devil Survivor Chapter 5? [UPDATE]

UPDATE 10/19/12 - The RAWs have finally been uploaded!
Work to be started ASAP. 

So most of you have probably figured out that it's been a little over a month since the last release, and about 3 weeks since this month's issue release and there's still no sign of a new Devil Survivor chapter. What's going on?

Simply put: no one has scanned and uploaded the magazine RAW chapter for Chapter 5. Well, OK, maybe someone has somewhere in the depths of the Japanese interwebs and it just hasn't come to light yet. But to be honest, right now, I don't have the chapter on me. I have searched high and low to no avail. Without the chapter, I can't do anything at this point. Unfortunately, I am not one of those people that import it out from Japan either. And even I wanted to, I have no scanner on me either...and I'd probably do a horrible job at it, too. None of the sources I usually go to have the chapter (or the November issue) on them. I don't know why, and I don't know when it will be eventually be uploaded (they probably don't know either, please don't pester them). It may happen once the next issue (December) comes out in 10 days, sometime in the near future, or possibly never, and you may have to wait until the book volume gets released.

I'll gladly do Chapter 5 once it gets uploaded, but for now, it might get skipped over if Chapter 6 is released. Considering it IS a game adaptation you can probably guess what happens (it hasn't been cancelled at this point, so most likely the trio essentially gave the middle finger to the Laplace Mail) but yeah, sorry guys. Hopefully the same thing won't happen for chapter 6.

tl;dr - No chapter 5 raw = no chapter 5 scanlation.

Release 06: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Chapter 4

Yuzu can't stop whining. Naoya comes back from the dead (again). Kazuya constantly gets trolled.

Somewhat thankful it's a slightly shorter chapter this month, as I've gotten much more busier now.

Release 05: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Chapter 3

So we're now into Day 1. Next issue doesn't comes out till August 25. It might take a little more longer than usual to release since I'll actually be busy around that time, but I have like a month, right? I appreciate those that want to help out, but I think I'm fine at the moment working by myself. Devil Survivor will probably be my only project at this point anyway, so I don't get overloaded and stuff. Unless there's like something small I can find.

Release 04: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Chapter 2

I don't feel like saying much. Work went along faster than I thought. Thanks /vg/ for spreading the word btw. Naoya trolls us some more. Yuzu freaks out as usual. Yay, demons! The Day Before is starting to wrap up, and I believe we'll get a start to the 1st Day next chapter, which I'll be starting right away. The manga does start to deviate a little from the game, but it's still anybody's guess at this point as to what path the protagonist / Kazuya will take. Enjoy!

EDIT: I just found a translation goof. Guess that's what you get for doing a one-man project. Here's the fixed v2. For the 8 people that just downloaded the original one, sorry about that.
